Tired of the games I was bouncing between I’ve settled on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey today & am enjoying it as much as the early games in the series. I wanted to enjoy it before, but couldn’t quite get a hang of the combat. However switching to the ‘alternate’ style seems to have done the trick now I have got the hang of countering. I checked Pi-Hole a couple of days back as my Twitter impressions have strangely peaked… then dropped away… I had 3 Pi-Hole updates to install, but each failed 🙁 Turns out I’ve been running this Raspberry Pi for so long that I was 2 releases behind current, still on jessie, so I’ve been on a mission to update. My gaming time has been taken up by Modern Warfare on the PS4, intense Multiplayer skirmishes, the regular updates from launch have kept it interesting. Today I experienced my first bricked Solid State Drive. Bad news; is that I lost months worth of finished propensity models. Good news; it was at work, nothing personal… and all backed up to OneDrive 🙂 I thought they lasted close to forever, so I’ll be sure to backup everything this weekend, suggest you all do the same!
So @Twitter had given me an update, the issue is someone is trying to hack my Twitter / Blog / Gmail accounts; so my email wasn’t updating on my handset??? My Raspberry Pi Python Twitter bot stopped posting last night. After I had strong words with it, and told it to pick up its game I deleted the cache database file and let it rebuild the history. PS4 ejecting disks automatically fixed by tightening the manual eject screw… this was a real challenge to find; I even doubted that the instructions were correct for my PS4 model… one of the times when the light on my phone came in useful. This solution seemed to have worked until this afternoon when it repeated; will have to tighten a couple more revolutions 🙂

Updated to Ubuntu Budgie 19.10… and no reboot!
