The guys at Rockstar really know how to build up an interest in titles pre-launch. Here are a few screen shots from GTA V, with the tease of multi-player info being available in August. I find this a good deal too, as I’ve always enjoyed the tongue in cheek guides… wonder if there will be an app version? The Signature Series ($24.99, 400 pages) features a complete walkthrough for Grand…

With the release of KSP 0.21 my love of space travel has been reborn! I’ve deleted all mods, additional parts, MechJeb, and gone vanilla. Now I’m enjoying the challenge, and having more fun… next step the Mun, or maybe docking? ๐

Still no Android 4.3 for me on either of my Nexus devices ๐ Update: It arrived this morning for my N4 ๐ Update 2: Half way through the day and I’ve noticed a considerable improvement in battery life. http://kotaku.com/watch-the-biggest-space-fight-in-history-go-down-944457494 As cool as looks it’s still not enough to entice me back to Eve. Sad to see the Reddit guys get beaten though, I’ll catch up on theย politics and gossip later. Here’s a link to a word from the front line /r/Eve/TheFountainWarof2013 And here’s my favourite KSP guide Scott Manley‘s Fountain War Diary… I love his passion and excitement, punctuated with his little giggles. I find watching this…

Wow, who is not excited by this? The graphics look fantastic with the first person view signature white / red colour pallet, and Faith’s moves look more stunning and fluid than before. Although Mirror’s Edge 2 will be a first-person action adventure, it “will be a different Mirror’s Edge than you have seen before”, according to Patrick Sรถderlund, executive vice president of the EA Games Label. And if this isn’t…

After the retro music of D-rock this afternoon, I was surprised to come across another blast from the past via Ubuntu Software Centre, a game I first played back in the late 90’s Abuse Here’s the intro from the wiki, last updated 2 years ago! Kudos to Sam for keeping it alive. Abuse is a dark 2D side-scrolling platform game developed by Crack dot Com in 1995. It features beautiful…

Writing the last post on Space Marines took me back to some distant memories, and I started singing an old favourite ‘Get out of My Way’ ๐ The band D-Rock, a hard metal British group released the album Oblivion, with lyrics inspired by 40k… this was one of the first CD’s I purchased! & TIL that Brian May played guitar on a couple of tracks too, Get out of My…

And this time I’m not posting about KSP, although I am enjoying the new 0.21 updates Space Hulk is available on pre-order from Steam, release date 15th August. This was the board game that won over causal players, the ones who would watch you play a game of Blood Bowl, but would never commit to rolling up a team. The Space Hulk scenarios were quick and fun, not too much…
