After some playing about today with this guide from developKinect.com, I got the the app to work 🙂 I was missing libusb-1.0 on my installation! apt-get install libusb-1.0 later and it’s all go. The app behaves ok, pity I can’t click with it, Off to find what I can do more with it now 🙂 w00t I’ve got openkinect.org working 🙂
Since I last updated my Ubuntu ATI graphics driver the mouse pointer in Ubuntu Unity and Gnome has been missing. I could still click on objects, and mouseovers would show, just no pointer! I’d read that today was the launch day of Ubuntu 13.10, to find it wasn’t until the end of the month… no worries, I’ve been playing with the beta Then I found Kerbal Space Program 0.22 had launched! Fantastic, except it won’t open in my Ubuntu installation 🙁 I could boot windows, but will wait and create a fresh install for 13.10 🙂 The birth of the Kraken
