I’m in a routine of running update and upgrade each time I logon… today Debian returned an error
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of libffi 8:amd64:
I tried several things, configuring the erroring package, reinstalling, removing, purge… no success.
So how did I resolve my dpkg dependency problems?
Burn all of the prerm files:
sudo apt-get remove *.prerm
Then update & upgrade
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get –with-new-pkgs upgrade
Sorted dpkg dependency problems resolved ::grin::
