Updated to Ubuntu Budgie 19.10… and no reboot!
Windows could learn so much from Linux
do-release-upgrade -c
didn’t work, but a visit to Synaptic Package Manager and installing all of the upgrades worked a treat 🙂
Now to explore the new updates…

Now I’m not going to format my hard drive just yet to enable a faster boot time by enabling LZ4 compression.
I currently use a AMD graphics card, so the NVIDIA Graphics drivers are of no benefit.
GNOME 3.34 Released With New Features & Performance Improvements, I’ve been using Budgie as a desktop environment for a while, but now I’m tempted to give Gnome another try… and while I’m at it think I’ll check out KDE as well
install KDE: install kde-plasma-desktop
install Gnome: sudo apt-get install ubuntu-gnome-desktop

Ha ha while posting this I spotted the pop-up that I am required to restart to finish installing updates :p
Update: I like the look and feel of KDE, but Gnome is a non starter… remove ubuntu-gnome-desktop
& bonus this seems to have removed the Amazon link too 🙂
After playing with the options I’m sold on the software integration, it’s just those little things, let’s see how long it lasts 🙂
