Twitter stalls rss feeds – soloution

The only feeds coming through to my sites Twitter feed @GamerGeekNews was limited today to just Android posts?????
My TwitterFeeds seemed to be working, as did the Yahoo Pipes.
What seemed to be the issue was the Twitter searches; they were returning posts over 2 days old!

I was fuming!
How dare twitter have the audacity to moderate & interrupt my free service 😉

So as a solution, rather than use the RSS feed generated from Twitter search, I found this:
http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/gamergeeknews.rss

This address string freely returns the Twitter feed of the associated user, thus posting updated feeds 🙂

I’ve now limited @GeekGamerNews feeds to one every half hour for each category, where available.

Edit: This function is no longer allowed by Twitter, removed in their last api update
