Music Beat Games

• Rockband Unplugged
  • I’ve never got into these games in the past, beyond picking up a Rockband drum-kit to use as a sampling device :p
  • DLC installed too, some great tracks, really appreciate the Pearl Jam & GlaDos tune
• Gitaroo Man Lives!
  • Fun off the wall arcade guitar beat game, gotta be played to understand
• Patapon 3
  • There’s something about the quality, and novelty, of some Sony consoles games, and this is one of them, thinking Shadow of the Colossus, and Last Guardian
• PaRappa the Rapper
  • Can’t have a music game collection without this classic!

Platform

• Ghosts and Goblins
  • One that generates kudos for completion
• Mega Man Powered Up
  • I understand there’ll be pew pew action
• Sonic Rivals
  • If I can’t have Super Fantasy Zone, I need another Sega fix
• Bubble Bobble Evolution

  • I know all of the characters, but not familiar with Alpha

  • The greatest obscure waste of time!

  • Trimmed down RPG

  • Only tabletop game I ever really got into, and how awesome is it I can carry a version in my pocket

• Gradius Collection
  • 5 games from 1985 to 1999, I remember this on the PS2 at release!
• Neo Geo Heroes Ultimate Shooting
  • Many characters, levels, and ways to play
• Twin Bee Portable
  • 5 more games from 1985 to 1995, this time cute style
• Dariusburst
  • High quality, well polished, bullet hell
• Space Invaders Extreme
  • Found this quite impressive, a great re-imagine of the original, with Tatio and Square Enix’s name on it
• Gravity Crash Portable
  • Thrust for the modern age… or the age 15 years ago :p
