ssh and Putty

I’ve now been introduced to a different way of connecting to a web server.

Even though I’ve been messing about with web sites for over a decade, I’ve never had any formal training, and I often feel like a n00b 🙂

How can you know, what you don’t know?
But it helps being inquisitive… plus having access to Google!

So today’s personal web lesson has been a base intro to SSH and Putty.
I’m still paddling in the shallow end, I’ve requested access from my host with T&C’s of what I can do.
They usually respond promptly, so looking forward to seeing what I can play with 🙂
