Bloodborne Finally final foe finished
26/08/2018
Over the past week I’ve battled through The Old Hunters DLC, and have enjoyed it more than I expected, and thankfully the final foe is finished 🙂
This has been my issue with Bloodborne, and the rest of the Souls series; I put the game down, only to consider it too tough to come back to for casual play. Only to pick them back up and drool over the quality of the mechanics and abstract stories.
So it’s over! I was going to grind out to acquire the Beast Claws, but I tired of the chalice dungeons after the variety of The Hunter’s Nightmare.
I munched down on three One Third of Umbilical Cord and fought the final battles… with some assistance 🙂
And this is what makes From Software’s Bloodborne (plus Souls) stand out from all the rest; how it creates, nurtures, and develops communities.
A heartfelt thank you to each Hunter who joined me on the boss battles (esp Super Henry, Zalanah, and FuNya rlathotep), I certainly couldn’t have done it without you, and I do plan on paying the favour forward 10 fold.
It’s been so long since I started (April 2015: Bloodborne – First impressions)I’d forgotten of Gehrman, and dropping into New Game PLus I was reminded of where I had met him first.
Tip for Bloodborne New Game Plus

I wish I had, it’s going to be a lot harder to grind out levels without easy access to the Laboratory 🙁
Refer to the Bloodborne wiki fextralife Game Progress Route, there are so many secrets to miss, and not a clue how you would figure out the endings without it?
Think I might now take a break from Bloodborne for a while, sure I’ll be back, but Dark Souls iii is calling this ashen one to finish something I started long ago 🙂
