a week beyond the strands of the digital web

I’ve been on a (digital) desert island for a week, wi-fi was available, but I opted out.
I had a cache of apps to play with, my SO had her Kindle Paper White, but I went old school, reading a tome she gifted me for chrimbo; Ben Elton’s, Two Brothers

As a long time reader & fan of Elton, this was a treat. The signature style, as in a Tarantino movie, that keeps you guessing for the twist to the end.

I’ve never really studied history, but after reading this I’m intrigued to learn more of European modern history. As my wife’s Dad is a retired history teacher I have a great available guide.

I highly recommend the read, as I do any other of Ben Elton’s work
