AI Studio Jupiter Animation, and a Forest Fire Simulation

Google AI Studio – Gemini 3
I’ve been playing around with Google's AI Studio, particularly the new Gemini 3 Pro Preview – and I’m blown away by how easy it is to create quite complex outputs.
Working on a couple of ideas, a couple of which I’ve been able to export and host on this server 🙂
Jupiter 3D
First of these is an animated 3D model of Jupiter, inspired by a photo from the James Webb telescope, together with moons!
Take a look at the live version here: Jupiter 3D
Ignis – Forest Fire Simulator
Next one I played with is a simulation of forest fires, which I’ve called Ignis
Play around with different variables, until a critical state has developed
- Fuel Moisture – drier wood burns quicker, with a higher chance to ignite
- Growth rate – chance of a tree growing on spare soil
- Lightening Chance – Probability of a tree being struck by lightening
- Toggle off and on the lightening visuals
- Base Spread% – chance that fire will spread
- Ember Spread% – chance of a burning tree spreading embers in a larger area
- Simulation Speed – it moves pretty fast, slow it down to watch changes closely
- Heat Map – observe the heat generated as a layer over the map
- Grid Resolution – go as big or as small as you like, but it runs well even on mobile

Off to think of what I can build next
